  • Dial-Ins

Please be sure your dial-in is written legibly on the right side of your car.  Dial-ins must be on the car and cannot be changed once the racer leaves the staging lanes.  It is the driver's responsibility to check their dial in before staging.  If you stage, you have accepted the dial in on the scoreboard.

  • Burnouts

No one will be disqualified for burning out across the starting line.  HOWEVER in the interest of moving the event along, we ask that you not burnout across the line if not necessary.

  • Staging

DEEP STAGING IS NOT ALLOWED.  Courtesy staging is recommended in all classes.

  • Tail Lights

In any racing after dark we ask that each race vehicle have a working tail light.  This is for your safety.  If your tail light is not on when you stage, you may be disqualified.  If your tail light is working when you stage, but goes out during the run, there is no disqualification.  It is up to the starter or tower crew to make a tail light call.

  • Disqualification

Disqualifications are made on the first or worse basis.  Example:  Crossing the centerline is considered worse than a red light.  Since we cannot possibly cover all situations that may arise during eliminations, it is the Race Directors responsibility to make a judgment on disputed calls.

  • Elimination Procedures

Bracket race pairing will be determined by the pulling of a card, or by the lane in which you pull into.  The racer who receives a bye is pulled out and will receive a bye only if there is an odd number of cars.  Once a racer has received a bye, he is not eligible for another bye unless all other remaining cars have received a bye.

  • Byes

Bye are determined at random first round.

All other byes are determined by the best winning reacton time from the previous round.

A competition bye is given only if 2 cars have been paired by the staging director and 1 of the 2 cars can not accept the tree, for what ever reason.

  • Buy Backs

Buy Backs at the pit gate.  You can buy back first OR second round, but only once.

  • Pits

Absolutely no unattended children in the pits or staging.

All vehicles in the pit area need to remain in their pit area, they are NOT to be used as general transportation in the pit area.  All other vehicles will park on the South end of the Victory Hall building.

  • Track Enforcement

It is the responsibility of MAD staff to enforce all rules that apply; it is not the responsibility of the competitor.   For other detailed rules refer to current NHRA Rule Book.

  • Rain Out Policy

Cars still in competition will receive rain check. If the race is in the money rounds, the money will be divided among the competitors still in the race.

No rain checks for spectators.
